The Hostel 'Re Alarico' is situated in Cosenza ancient capital of the Bruzio Reign which is surrounded by seven hills.The hostel stands in the heart of the old town centre close by to the main monuments:The Dome(1200),the norman Swabian Castel,Prefecture Square,National Gallery.The ancient city is located above the Croti and Busento rivers,nestled along the slopes of the Poneraragio Hill,from where the imposing Norman Swabian Castle dominates.In spite of their difference in structure from those of the modern quarters which were built around the historic centre after 1800,the old and the new seem to mingle well against the backround of the seven verdant hills.
