The historic city centre can be reached in just a few minutes by using the underground U1. The underground stop Praterstern is located just a few footsteps from the hotel. The 'Hauptallee', the main street of the famous viennese Prater has its starting point at the back side of the building reachable through our garden. The Hotel Cristall is located in the next area of the Messe Wien (Vienna Fair Ground) und the Vienna International Center. Vienna's appearance is manifold from the historic city centre with its magnicficent buildings from many different centuries, to the former villages outside the once-standing city ramparts, to the green hills of the Vienna Woods. Very close to the city centre there is the Prater, an natural park that covers more than 5 square kilometers and was an imperial hunting ground until 1766.Today the Prater has lakes from old tributaries of the Danube, meadows, grand boulevards lined with chestnut trees and the fun park with its merry-go-rounds and rollercoasters. However, the sights of Vienna are not the only reason for paying a visit.
