On the outside The Lodge is an early 1800 Victorian Building, situated in the unique Norfolk Square which was built in the early 1800's. It was then a private square which housed the Nobility of London and their servants, who lived in the lower parts of the buildings. Inside it is clean, safe and friendly. The majority of our dorms are spacious and many have fridges & TV's, which is why we also cater for long term travellers. There is a communal kitchen and dining area and also a lounge with Satellite TV downstairs in the basement. Wireless internet access for those with laptops is available at no extra cost. There are plenty of bathrooms in the hostel. Sheets, pillows & pillowcases are provided, as well as duvets & covers. The accommodation provides the ideal location to Oxford street - shopper’s paradise or perhaps you want to visit some of the famous historic sights like Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. Drink a pint of England's finest ale, see a West End show or take a stroll in Hyde Park, not forgeting the hip international restaurants and the city's vibrant multi cultural population. There is no curfew, for £15 deposit guests receive their own front & bedroom door keys - refundable on check-out. Arrival time: Please note reception hours are Mon-Fri 9am-8pm. And weekends 9am-6pm. If you are arriving outside reception hours, please let us know.
