Our B&B is for those who love to enjoy the wonders of Rome and the charm of the “Roman countryside”, full of history, of civility and folklore. For those who love to feel at their ease in the quietness of a villa immersed in green nature, where there are two pleasant and comfortable rooms available for the complete relaxation of our guests.For those who, after waking up in the morning, love to live their vacation after having a fragrant and varied breakfast.For those who in the evening love to savor excellent and genuine Roman cuisine.For those who know that they have found all of this at a fair and reasonable price.
The two rooms, a double room and one with two single beds both have an independent entrance on their side of the garden (a birch garden and magnolia garden), and a private bathroom with a large shower stall.The rooms – one named “The Birches” and the other “The Magnolias”- are decorated with family furniture dating back to the late 1800s in such a way as to be comfortable and hospitable.The price of the room per night is 40 Euros per person and 75 Euros for two persons.The price includes full services.The rooms are cleaned daily. Bath towels are changed every three days.The use of a covered parking lot is also included in the price.Smoking is not allowed in the rooms.Breakfast, which is included in the price, is served in the winter season in a large dining room beside a lit fireplace.In the summer season breakfast is also served outdoors in the courtyard or in the park. For breakfast we serve coffee, tea, milk, fruit juice, local bread and sweets, local cheese and sliced meats and salami and seasonal vegetables Not only is Rome reachable by train or by car in only 30 minutes but there are also other places of major tourist interest that are very near our B&B or comfortably reachable by car for a one day visit. They are:- Palestrina, with its monumental Tempio alla Dea Fortuna Primigenia (The Temple of the Goddess Fortuna) and its Archeological Museum, only 7 minutes away- Valmontone, with the largest retail outlet center in Italy, 7 minutes away- Frascati and the world famous Roman Castles (Castelli Romani) are only 20 minutes away- Tivoli, with Villa d'Este and its monumental wonders from the Roman epoch (Villa Adriana) or the Renaissance or the Baroque periods are also only 20 minutes away- Cassino, with its testimony of its medieval history and the events of the Second World War, only 90 minutes away- Caserta, with the splendor and the majesty of the Reggia Borbonica (the Bourbon Palace), only 100 minutes away- Naples, is reachable within 90 minutesDistance and travel time to reach other places of major tourist interest:- Rome 45 km (27.9 miles) - 30 minutes by train or by car- Palestrina – 6 km (3.7 miles) - 6 minutes by car- Tivoli 25 km (15.5 miles) – 20 minutes by car
Arriving by car from the north or south on the Superhighway A1, exit at the Valmontone toll booth which is only 7 minutes from our B&B. If you call our telephone number, our guide and pickup service are always available to conduct our guests from the superhighway toll booth to our B&B or from the Valmontone train station which is only 30 minutes away from Rome by train.Using the GPS we can be reached by looking for “Contrada Casalecchio del Comune di Cave (Provincia di Roma) using the following coordinates: Latitude: 41.801374904949164 Longitude: 12.932946681976318 Upon request, and with a reimbursement of 60 Euros, we will pick up our guests at the Rome airports, Fiumcino and Ciampiono and also accompany them to the airport at the end of their stay.
